Framing: Our buildings start with an all steel frame construction, consisting of 1/4” to 3/8” thick rectangular steel tubing for the top and bottom plates. Then square steel posts are welded in place to connect the top and bottom. Gussets are added along the top and bottom of these posts to add strength. The interior walls and ceilings are constructed with steel studs and ceiling joists, providing a high level of fire protection.
Roof / Exterior: Our modular buildings have a flat roof design, which consists of metal roofing sheets and then a fire rated, foam insulation board and a very durable 60 mil EPDM rubber roofing liner. The building’s exterior is typically stucco, unless other materials are discussed during the planning stages of the building. The colors can be matched to an existing building or to the customer’s specifications.
Interior: The interior of our buildings begins with a layer of drywall and then colors for the walls, floor tile, carpet, etc. are provided by the customer. Each room’s design will be determined by the type of equipment used in it and any codes that may apply to the particular installation.
Transportation and Setup: These sturdy built modular buildings can be easily transported to your location and set in a fraction of the time it would take to have a site built construction. |
